School leaders must intentionally create a growth-minded culture to support adult learning.

It is believed that Socrates once said, “I cannot teach anybody anything, I can only make them think.” Adult learners are no different than young students in their desire to be active participants in their learning, challenged to think critically and deeply about topics they deem relevant to their needs and interests. School leaders must actively support a positive learning culture for the adults on site and create strong systems to support this learning.
